Ballantrae is located on the southern tip of Ayrshire on the A77 towards Stranraer and the annual Ballantrae Festival of Food & Drink is a celebration of the very best of Scottish Food & Drink!
Building on Farmers' Markets and Smugglers’ Festivals, a group of local people the Community Council and its Development Group wanted to showcase great local food and drink and the concept of the Ballantrae Food Festival was born.
Over the years it has been highly succesful and is on the calendar of foodies from all over as well as just ordinary families looking for a little taste of Ayrshire's larder.
