Highlander Tartan Wear is based in Kyle Street, Ayr and has been for the last thirty years. It is a familly run business which is renowned for it's customer care and satisfaction.
The shop is split into two sections. The first deals with Formal Dress Hire, this department caters for Highland, Morning and Dinner hire and has a large selection of different tartans and jackets available along with various morning jackets etc.
The second section is Retail. This department deals with the purchase of Kilts, Jackets and all Highland Accessories e.g. Sporrans, Belts/Buckles, Ghillie Brogues, Kilts pins etc.
The shop also caters for all things Scottish, Souvenirs, Glassware, Jewellery, Pewterware and Harris Tweed. Many items are available from handbags to dog leads, slippers, candles, hip flasks, whiskey glasses and decanters. If you call into the shop, you'll meet a warm atmosphere with friendly staff and enjoy a good shopping experience.
