A family owned business started in Ayr in1913 by Antoino Mancini. He sold ice cream around the town from a horse and cart. In 1925 The Royal Cafe in New Road opened, which traded until 2017. Filippo Mancini present owner and grandson of Antonio operates the business today and sucsessfully operates the company's Cafe which is now situated on Prestwick Seafront. He continues to produceluxury ice cream, which he sells along with beautiful Italian coffee, pastries, panini's and snacks.

Mancini's cafe at the Beach is sitting on Prestwick seafront with the most stunning views of the Isle of Arran and the firth of Clyde. The views are quiet stunning either on hot sunny day or days when the rain and wind thunders along the beach, both very spectacular. The cafe seats 30 inside with plenty of seating outside. Serving our own luxury award winning ice cream served whatever way you would like it, from a simple single scoop cone to a stunning ice cream sundae. Our flavours range from our award winning vanilla. strawberry, chocolate, salted caramel. Italian niccola, Jammacciiaann Ma Crazzzeeeee( 5 combined fruits), kinder or nutella. there is usually around 30 flavours on display during the summer months. Light Snacks are served all day with toasties, panini's home made soup of the day, hot filled bakes, hot dogs loads of cold drinks on display for those hot summer days Mancini's ice cream plays a big part in the wedding industry with our ice cream carts, ice cream trikes and liquor flavoured slush. Mancinis ice cream has been voted the UK national ice cream champions on three occasion. twice for vanilla ice cream and once for Chocolate ice cream.
