Laurence Hood Family Butcher Shop in the heart of Prestwick town has been running as a business for almost 100 years and for just under 40 years by the current owner- serving the town and many others further afield.
The shop is open Monday-Saturday each week (half day on Wednesday) and it sells top quality, locally sourced meat and produce e.g. fresh farm eggs, potatoes, etc.
It specialises in home made items including steak pies, mince rounds, scotch pies, sausages, burgers, cooked meats, potted meat, black pudding and the renowned Burns Country award winning haggis.
